NBA -- Clippers hold annual Filipino Night (PHOTOS)

SAN FRANCISCO -- In honor of one of their most loyal fan base, the Los Angeles Clippers held the team's annual Filipino Heritage Night at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
The event coincided with the Clippers hosting of the visiting New Orleans Pelicans, a game in which the Clippers blasted the Pels, 120-100, behind Blake Grififn's 30 points and Chris Paul's 18 and 16 assists.
During halftime,a dance presentation highlighting Filipino culture was performed to the delight of the 19,060 fans in attendance, many of whom were Filipinos who got special discounted tickets for the occasion.
The Clippers plan to hold another Filipino Night festivity next season. (JSM)
