NBA -- Pacers run over Bulls, 99-90 By Kevin Gonzalez PhilBoxing.com Mon, 17 Nov 2014 ![]() CHICAGO -- Despite playing with only nine active players on their roster, the injury depleted Indiana Pacers scored a major upset at the United Center on Saturday night. Luis Scola, A.J. Price and Solomon Hill each finished with 21 points as the Pacers took the bite out of the Bulls, 99-90. Chris Copeland joined the scoring parade with 13 points while Roy Hibbert, the only regular left in Indy's once-mighty starting unit last season, contributed a quiet eight points and seven rebounds. Indiana missed the services of the injured Paul George, CJ Miles, David West, George Hill, CJ Watson and Rodney Stuckey. "We got plenty of guys in uniform. Let's focus on the strengths we have with this group, try to win the next game, weather the storm, "Pacers head coach Frank Vogel told reporters after the game. Leading only by four, 69-65, after three quarters, the Pacers built a comfortable 88-71 cushion at the 6:42 mark of the final period. The Bulls tried to mount a comeback but the closest they could get was within seven, 88-81, with only 2:21 left to play. Jimmy Buter finished with a game-high 32 points but he had little help. Kirk Hinrich, who started in place of the injured Derrick Rose, tallied only 15 while Pau Gasol missed 11 of 15 field goals to log just 12. "We got beat in every aspect of the game. We've got to figure out how to play better here. We just played a low energy game," said Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau after his team lost its third at home while going undefeated on the road at 5-0 this season.
