WEIGHTS FROM ATLANTIC CITY: HOPKINS - 173.5 LBS., KOVALEV - 174.5 LBS.

Ageless wonder WBA, IBF and IBA light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (55-6-2, 32KO) of Philadelphia, PA weighed in at 173.5 lbs while WBO light heavyweight champion Sergy Kovalev (25-0-1, 23KO) of Chelyabinsk, Russia came in at 174.5 lbs during the official weighin Friday for their world unification bout at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey Saturday night.
Hopkins, who will turn 50 on Jan. 15, will attempt to break his own record to become the oldest world champion in history while Kovalev, the WBO fighter of the year, will try to demistify Hopkins' extra-terrestial aura.
