NBA -- Big 4th quarter propels Miami past the young Sixers, 114-96

MIAMI- The Heat have lost their first road game in each of the last two seasons, including a 114-110 decision to Philadelphia 76ers last year.
So Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center, Miami made sure that they would not run into that same scenario again this season.
Chris Bosh continues to thrive as the Heat's leading man as he scored 30 points and grabbed 8 rebounds while Mario Chalmers added 20 points off the bench to lead Miami past the youthful Philadelphia 76ers 114-96.
Only ahead by four at the end of three quarters, Miami used a 12-4 run in the first 6 minutes of the final quarter and held Philadelphia to 9 points the rest of the way as they padded their lead to as high as 20 points with 2:37 left in the game. Philadelphia barely put up a fight after that and ended up losing their third straight game this early into the season.
Tony Wroten had 21 points and 10 assists for the Sixers and Brandon Davis chipped in 18 points in a losing cause.
The Sixers made 24 turnovers and shot only 30 percent from 3-point range. Meanwhile Miami had 33 assists on 41 field goals and 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Dwyane Wade, who struggled throughout the game chipped in 9 points and 10 assists for the Heat. Wade later told the Sun-Sentinel, " They were putting two men on me coming off the pick and roll. When you're shots aren't falling, you've got to find different ways to impact the game."
The Sixers were without last year's Rookie of they Year winner Michael Carter- Williams, who remains sidelined as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery
Miami, meanwhile brings its 2-0 slate back to South Florida as it faces the visiting Toronto Raptors. (GC)
