SABILLO AND BANAL: THE COMEBACK
PhilBoxing.com Fri, 31 Oct 2014

Both Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo and AJ ?Bazooka? Banal are indeed grateful for the chance that has been given to them to fight for what they have lost.
?I am thankful for the opportunity and the trust that my manager and promoter keep on giving me,? Banal stressed.
He also added that the unfortunate losses which happened in the past were really hard for him, however, he learned a lot from the experience and has made it his motivation to train more and be better in his upcoming 8 ? against Thai national Maxsaisai Sithsaithong in the Featherweight division.
?I don?t know which round yet, but I will give my best to knock him out,? Banal disclosed.
Moreover, 30 - year old former WBO World Minimumweight champion Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo revealed that his first career loss discouraged him and pushed him to want to give up, yet family and friends encouraged him to never lose hope instead and try to be better to gain back what he once had.
?When I lost my title, I really felt discouraged but the good thing is that I have my family and friends to make me realize that boxing really is like that?sometimes you win and sometimes you lose,? he shared.
Sabillo added that the unfortunate episode of his life gave him a lot of lesson?lessons which changed his whole being. ?This time around I already know what to do and how to handle myself well,? he said. Sabillo also hopes that the supporters will be happy for him in his comeback fight and wishes that they will also continue their support and pray for him and his fellow fighters who are also scheduled to fight next month for the all-star card in Pinoy Pride 28.
Sabillo and Banal will be fighting along WBO Jr. flyweight champion Donnie ?Ahas? Nietes, Milan ?El Metodico? Melindo for the Jr. Featherweight Eliminator, IBF Intercontinental Jr. Featherweight title defense of?Prince? Albert Pagara, and Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo on November 15, Saturday at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
