Doliguez on the warpath

CAN?T blame Filipino star Jun ??Hercules?? Doliguez (16-0-1, 12 KOs) for issuing a challenge to those willing to fight him for the World Boxing Organization featherweight title. The WBO throne was vacated by Mikey Garcia due to weight problems.

The unbeaten Garcia (32-0, 27 KOs) floored Juan Manuel Lopez in the fourth round last Saturday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas but was unable to hold on to the prestigious crown since he was two pounds over the 126-lbs featherweight limit.

And Doliguez, who hails from Manny Pacquiao?s Sarangani Province is ready to fight for the title.

??I am ready,?? said Doliguez, who trains at the Touch Gloves Boxing Gym Agoncillo, Batangas. He is being handled by Saved by the Bell President Elmer Anuran.

Among the big names in the division are Orlando Cruz, Gary Russell, Jr., Joel Brunker, Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo, Hiroshige Osawa,, Kamil Laszczyk, Ronny Rios and Jasyon Velez.

Doliguez is ranked No. 8th by the WBO.

??I?ll fight anybody left in the 126 division,?? declared Doliguez.
