Results from Manta Ecuador with regional WBC and WBA championship fights

On August 29, the Nocaut Fest took place in Manta, Ecuador, featuring bouts for WBC and WBA international titles.

Ecuadorian Abel Mina (20-4-1, 10 KOs), 33, defeated Mexican boxer Jesús Piña Nájera (25-11-4, 19 KOs) by knockout in a 10-round bout for the WBC Latino Regular and WBA Fedelatin championships.

On the same date, well-known Ecuadorian Erick Bone (32-8, 17 KOs), 37, defeated his compatriot—and previously undefeated prospect—Santos Quiñonez (8-1, 2 KOs) by unanimous decision in a 10-round fight for the WBC Latino Silver and WBA Fedelatin championships.

Note: Although high-ranking representatives from the WBC and WBA organizations were present at the event, this news is being reported late; to date, the results have still not appeared on the event and record-keeping site BoxRec.com.
