Two days before his scheduled fight, Denver Cuello-Singwangcha is set to blast off as he weighed at 104 pounds without having to drain himself. "It was no sweat for Denver to make weight. I make him eat the food he likes and the nutrients he need for the fight. With what I see on Denver, my kid can stay at 105 for a longer time", Aljoe Jaro told this scribe.
Denver has been doing mitts, shadow boxing and skipping ropes. A short jog every morning and he is ready to rumble on Saturday. His manager and promoter Aljoe Jaro serves as his nutritionist and cook while in Mexico. There are good restaurants at the Casa Celaya Hotel but Team Cuello has brought their own stuff to enbale Denver to eat any Filipino food he wants.
Watch out for the fight on May 20 morning Philippine time.
