With the participation of thousands of people at different venues throughout Mexico, the 2026 National Boxing Class was held following a special initiative promoted by the Mexican government to promote physical activity and sports among people of all ages and genders.
The "Fists of Transformation" National Boxing Class brought together more than 500,000 participants simultaneously on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 548 venues across Mexico's 32 states. This initiative, promoted by CONADE (National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport), aimed to foster peace and sportsmanship with the participation of boxers and former world champions.
"Fists of Transformation" is part of the efforts to bring sports closer to the population and strengthen its role as a tool for inclusion and social transformation. The nationwide participation reflects the reach of boxing as a discipline capable of fostering community, promoting healthy habits, and contributing to the holistic development of communities.
With this event, supported by the WBC and the Mexican government, this new edition of the National Boxing Class continues its mission to promote physical activity and encourage active lifestyles through sport.
This initiative is part of the National Mass Sports System, which, in addition to promoting community sports, provides opportunities for young people to train in this discipline and share their knowledge by teaching classes in communities across the country, becoming active agents of change within their localities.
The WBC and the Mexican government have joined forces for the past five years to hold this massive boxing class, which has become a key event on the country's annual calendar.
