The farewell to the beloved Puerto Rican former boxer begins this Tuesday, August 18, with a public wake held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Winter Park Chapel, located at 3806 Howell Branch Road, in Winter Park, Florida.
The funeral service will be held this Wednesday, August 19, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, followed by interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park.
It has been reported that Prichard's farewell is being streamed online on social media starting Tuesday.
Prichard's death was announced on Thursday, August 13, 11 years after an accident in the ring that caused a severe brain injury during a fight against Terrel Williams on October 17, 2015, at the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia.
