Los Angeles, CA - Philippine Airlines Flight number PR 102 was on schedule as it touched down at the Los Angeles International Airport or most commonly known as LAX last night. It carried one of the most popular athlete in the world as he returned to his second home in this "City of Stars."
Manny Pacquiao and his team arrived from Manila to continue training for his June 9 fight against unbeaten challenger Timothy Bradley. The WBO welterweight champ who was accompanied by his trainer Freddie Roach, brother Bobby Pacquiao and key members of his team were greeted by throngs of fans eager to get a glimpse of the popular boxer.
Pacquiao and Roach started their training camp more than two weeks ago in the mountains of Baguio City in preparation for his bout against Bradley. They will continue their camp in the confines of Roach's famous Wild Card Gym in Hollywood leading to the fight that will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao spent a short time at the airport as fans and the media snapped photos of him upon his arrival. He also granted brief interviews to various members of the press who were patiently waiting for him and his team.
