Carlo Bacaro Brutalizes Thai Rival in Two Rounds to Capture WBF Silver Welterweight Title

Hard-swinging Negros Oriental warrior Carlo Bacaro brutally dismantled Thailand's Channarong Injampa in just two rounds at Robinsons Galleria in Cebu last weekend July 25, capturing the World Boxing Foundation (WBF) Silver Welterweight Championship and taking another significant step forward in his promising professional boxing career.

Bacaro came out aggressively from the opening bell, immediately taking command of the action.

A sharp lead left hook landed flush and stunned Injampa, prompting the strong Pinoy to go on the offensive.

Bacaro relentlessly cut off the ring, trapping the Thai fighter against the ropes. Fans loved it.

Then, a crushing left hook to the body thrown by Bacaro was met by a counter from Injampa, briefly slowing Bacaro's momentum. The Thai was brave!

But undeterred, Bacaro finished the opening frame in dominant fashion, connecting with another thunderous left hook just before the bell sounded at plush Robinsons Galleria along Mango Avenue.

The pressure continued in the second round.

The Thai Injampa attempted to respond with a right straight followed by a left hook, but bad for him both punches missed the target.

As the Thai retreated, Bacaro fired a jab, feinted a second jab, then brilliantly turned jab into an explosive left hook midway through the motion. You get my meaning? That was cool.

That perfectly timed punch landed cleanly, sending Injampa crashing to the canvas for the full count, and the new Champ Carlo Bacaro, now a resident of LapuLapu City.
