Philippine boxing was quiet,

Then entered Manny Pacquiao.

Who destroyed some boxing legends,

To become the sports new cash cow.

He came from humble beginnings,

Now part of an upmarket crowd.

Earning millions in winnings,

whilst making his country proud.

He's a hero to many,

And he's leading the way,

For the new breed of boxers,

In the Philippines today.

All hail king Manny,

Even if you're not a fan,

You can't help but admire,

The success achieved by this man...
