Everything is set for the staging of Masikhay Gambit FIDE Rated Chess Tournament on September 26,2026 at the Park Mc Kinley West, Le Grand Ave, Taguig City.
There will be three (3) divisions contested, the Open Division, the Junior Division (20 under) and Kiddies Division ( 14 under) applying the rapid time control format of 15 minutes plus 3 seconds increment, 7-Rounds Swiss System Competition.
The Open division champion will earn P10,000 and a trophy, the second place will receive P7,000 and a medal, the third place will pocket P4,000 and a medal.
Fourth to fifth place will receive P2,000, and P1,500 while sixth to tenth place will get P1,000 each.
The Junior Division 20 and under champion will earn P7,000 and a trophy, second place will receive P4,000 and a medal, third place will pocket P2,000 and a medal.
Fourth to fifth place will receive P1,500 and P1,000 while sixth to tenth place will pocket P500 each.
The Kiddies 14 under Champion will earn P5,000 and a trophy, second place will pocket P4,000 and a trophy, third place P3,000 and a medal. Fourth to fifth will receive P2,000 and P1,000 while sixth to 10th place will pocket P500 each.

September 3-10 (Early Bird) is P800; September 11-17 is P1,000 and September 18-24 is P1,200.
No onsite registration beyond September 24.
