Sem Japet Enano scores another Upset in Brisbane, Stops Tyler Blizzard in 7th

IBO Ocenia Featherweight champion Sem Japet Enano won an upset in Brisbane by stopping IBF Pan Pacific champ Tyler Blizzard in the 7th round. This marks his second win in Australia this year, after beating Tyrell Adams in Melbourne in April.

Enano began the fight aggressively, gradually wearing Blizzard down with body shots, and by the seventh round the referee had seen enough. Enano said: “I want to thank everyone who supports me, my family and my team Sanman Boxing. I will continue to work hard and reach my goal to be a world champion.”

Sanman Boxing CEO Jim Claude Manangquil added: “Great performance by Enano, Blizzard had no answer for him. We will have a bigger plan for Enano after two upset wins in Australia.”
