RP Junior Bantamweight Champion Eden Sonsona will leave for Japan on the 3rd of October for his scheduled fight against a Japanese opponent for the OPBF JR Bantamweight Championship this Saturday, October 6.
The native from General Santos City finished his light training and 6-rounds sparring with minimumweight prospect Michael Landero. Sonsona is in good condition from his long hard training. He?s been training since late July because the OPBF title was supposed to be held in September but was rescheduled this October.
?He?s ready? said his father and trainer Boy Sonsona. ?He?s excited for this fight, we?ve waited for this opportunity to show his talent? he added. His conditioning was monitored by 2 other trainers from the Wild Card Boxing Gym in Para?aque City.
