NBA -- Lakers sting Heat in OT, 102-100

LOS ANGELES -- Julius Randle hit a tie-breaking shot in the final 1.9 seconds of overtime to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a thrilling 102-100 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at the Staples Center.

​Randle ended up with 13 points and 14 rebounds, but it was Jordan Clarkson who topscored for the Lakers with 26 markers and six assists. D'Angelo Russell chipped in 16.

​The Lakers, who remained in the bottom of the Western Conference with a 16-59 record, won despite making only 37 of 102 field goals, a poor 36.3 percent clip. Miami, which fell to 43-31, converted 41 of 86 shots but went only 3 of 17 from 3-point range.

​Dwyane Wade led the Heat with 26 points and 10 assists while Luol Deng registered 22 and 11 boards. Hassan Whiteside had a monster night off the bench with 18 points and 17 rebounds.

The ​L​akers host the ​Boston C​eltics ​on ​Sunday night at the Staples Center while the ​Heat visit the Kings at the Sleep Train Arena on Friday night.​
