NBA -- Spurs hold off Lakers, 119-113​

LOS ANGELES -- ​The Los Angeles Lakers ​fell to the San Antonio Spurs, 119-113, on Friday night at Staples Center.

It was the Lakers' fourth straight ​defeat and 45th loss overall. They only have 11 wins this season and they lost to a powerhouse Spurs team that missed the services of the injured ​Kawhi Leonard (calf ) and Manu Ginobili (groin).

The Lakers cut a 15​-​point deficit down to ​four ​after a vintage Kobe Bryant turn​-​around jumper. But Australian native Patty Mills put away the game for good after hitting a 3​-​point​er​ ​that allowed the Spurs to pull away .

Tony Parker led the Spurs with 25 points​. ​LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 while Mills scored 15 off the bench​.​ Kyle Anderson​,​ starting in place of​ sidelined​ Leonard​,​ got 14​ while​ Tim Duncan ​registered ​a quiet double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

​Bryant, who sustained a dislocated finger led the Lakers with 25. ​ ​The ​Lakers also got 21 points from Lou Williams and 20 from Jordan Clarkson​,​ who had four ​triples​ in the ​fir​st quarter. Julius Randle had another double-double with 11 and 15 rebounds.

The Lakers travel to Chicago to play the Bulls on Sunday​ while the visit the Suns in Phoenix.
