FORT WAYNE -- C.J. Miles knocked knocked down three triples and scored 20 points to lift the Indiana Pacers to a 98-86 victory over the Charlotte Hornets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Paul George had an all-around effort of 12 points, six rebounds and four assists while Rodney Stuckey added 10 points and four dimes off the bench as the Pacers handed the visiting Hornets their first loss in eight preseason games.
Prized rookie Frank Kaminsky III had 19 points and six boards while sharp shooter Kemba Walker tallied 12. Center Cody Zeller contributed 11 points and nine rebounds for Charlotte, which struggled mightily from the field, making only 34 of 90 shots for a tepid 37.8 percent clip.
The Pacers bumped their record to 5-2.
