ALA COBRA BOXING IN CDO AUG.23

Undefeated prospect Mark ?Machete? Bernaldez of Butuan City will headline the ALA-Cobra ?Tunay na Lakas? fight card set this Saturday August 23 at the Lapasan Covered Court in Cagayan de Oro City. The 22 year old Bernaldez (13-0,9KO?s) will be pitted against Ryan Bongcawil of Bukidnon in a ten round non-title contest.
During the official weigh-in held Friday at the Robinsons Cagayan de Oro City, both Bernaldez and Bongcawil weighed in at 127lbs. Bernaldez is coming off stoppage wins against Marangin Marbun of Indonesia, Khunkhiri Wor Wisaruth of Thailand and veteran Marvin Tampus of Leyte.
Bongcawil (7-10-5,3KO?s) has seen action but lost against local
prospects Renoel Pael and Jerwin Ancajas. Also penned to clash are Elmo Traya (138lbs) vs Jesar Ancajas (138lbs) ? 8 rounds, Brian Lobitania (119.5) vs. Rowel Garcia (119lbs)-8 rounds, Jonas Sultan (115.5lbs) vs Renante Suacasa (118lbs) ? 8 rounds, Jess Rhey Waminal (116.5) vs Paolo Perono (116)- 6 rounds and
Andrew Debucas (105) vs Prince Canonero (105)- 4 rounds.
Fights start at 6PM.
