NBA - Heat to add two veterans

CHICAGO -- While waiting for free agent LeBron James' decision, the Miami Heat added a pair of veterans to their depleted roster Monday afternoon.
According to USA Today, Josh McRoberts will join the Heat for a four-year deal with $23 million. A bruising 6-foot-10 power forward, McRoberts suited up for the Charlotte Hornets last season where he averaged 8.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
McRoberts will likely take over the spot of Chris 'Birdman" Andersen, who opted out of his contract to seek a higher payday elsewhere. The Heat only have Norris Cole under contract so far.
Veteran Danny Granger is also set to join the Heat, a report by ESPN said.
Although contracts can't be signed until July 10, Granger's deal is for two years with a player option on the second. His first year pay is $2.1 million.
Once a fixture with the Indiana Pacers, Granger was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers late last season. He has 9 years of NBA experience under his belt, averaging 17.4 points per game throughout his career. (Homer D. Sayson)
