OAKLAND -- The Golden State Warriors forced a Game 7 in their Western Conference series with the Los Angeles Clippers by taking Game 6, 100-99, Thursday night at the Oracle Arena.
The Warriors were forced to go small with an injured Jermaine O'Neal in the first half and David Lee fouling out early in the fourth quarter. The Clippers, meanwhile, had their share of misfortunes with Blake Griffin and JJ Redick fouling out in the last quarter.
Warriors and Clippers kept it suspenseful going into the last seconds of the game. Matt Barnes made a desperation three point shot leaving 1.1 seconds left giving the Warriors a one point lead. The Clippers fell short to the warriors fouling Curry with .4 seconds left as Curry intentionally missed the last free throw leaving no time to spare.
Stephen Curry finished the game with 24 points and 9 assists, along with a Iguodala 15 points and Draymond Green tallying 14 points and rebounds.
Blake Griffin scored 17 points and nine rebounds before fouling out in the fourth. Deandre Jordan pulled in 19 rebounds and nine points.
Game 7 is Saturday night (Sunday AM in Manila) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
