NBA -- Lakers edge Kings

SACRAMENTO - The Los Angeles Lakers won a close game against the Sacramento Kings here at the Sleep Train Arena Friday night, 106-100. It's the Lakers' second straight win over the Kings following a 100-86 during the preseason.
All five Lakers starters scored in double figures led by center Pau Gasol and shooting guard Jodie Meeks who had 19 points apiece. Steve Blake whipped a double-double, 13 points and 10 assists, while Wesley Johnson had 13. Robert Sacre added 11.
Kings center, DeMarcus Cousins, and rookie Ben McLemore had 20 points each for Sacramento. Their bench came in strong with Isaiah Thomas finishing with 14 points and nine assists. John Salmons tallied 13.
Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant did not play, but is expected to come back on December 8 at Staples Center against the Toronto Raptors.
