PAEL AND POSTA CLASH IN SIQUIJOR SEPT 30

Siquijor - Fight fans in this central Visayan island will be treated to six professional bouts this Monday headlined by hometown boy Rajah Renoel Pael and Raul Posta of Bukidnon in the ten round main event set at the Siquijor Capital Square. Both had no problems during the weigh-in held at the fight venue Sunday noon with Pael coming in at 110 lbs while Posta weighed 108 lbs for their non-title contest.
The 22 year old Pael is unbeaten with a 11W-0L-1D, 4 KO?s record. He represents the Princesa Bulakna Resort of Maria, Siquijor and has previously held Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) titles and also ruled the flyweight division of GMA TV?s Buhay Boksingero in 2011. Posta (8W-2L-2D, 2 KO?s) has fought mostly in Mindanao.
The official weigh-in was supervised by Glen Agena of Gab-Cebu. For the undercards, unbeaten Ardie Boyose Singwangcha (7W-0L) will fight Jessie Tuyor (3W-11L-4D) in a ten round contest. Boyose weighed in at 120 lbs while Tuyor was at 112 lbs. Neil Tabanao Singwangcha (120 lbs) will fight Elmar Francisco (118 lbs) and Joey Canoy Singwangcha (100 lbs) will face Jherad Tuyor (102 lbs).
Gerpaul Valero will not be able to fight in this card and his scheduled opponent, Jomar Ministerio (116 lbs) will now face Bryan Samson of Siquijor (118 lbs). The opening bout will be between Melmark Dignos (106 lbs) and Jaysever Abcede (100 lbs).
This fight card is billed as the first Congresswoman Dr. Anne Pernes Cup and is promoted by RWS and Naris Singwangcha Promotions and Rajah Silapu-lapu Promotions.
