IT'S RAUL CAIZ JR WHO WILL REFEREE THE SABILLO-ESTRADA TITLE FIGHT

WBO Asia Pacific vice president Leon Panoncillo has informed us that the third man in the ring for the minimum weight title defense of Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo against Colombia?s Jorlie Estrada will be Raul Caiz Jr, and not his father Raul Caiz Sr.
Raul Caiz Jr who is also from California was a judge when undefeated flyweight Milan Melindo scored a 4th round TKO over Indonesia?s Tommy Seran im Macau last April 6 to earn a crack at Juan Francisco Estrada who won the WBO/WBA belts from Brian Viloria on the same card.
He was also a judge when AK ?Bazooka? Banal lost by a 9th round TKO to Thailand?s Pungluang Sor Singyu in a clash for the vacant bantamweight title in October last year at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Although not as well known as his veteran father who is regarded as one of the finest referees in the world today, Raul Caiz Jr has earned the respect of both boxers and fight fans.
