DONAIRE-ARCE TURNS IN HUGE RATINGS

WBO and Ring Magazine super bantamweight champion Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire?s third round demolition of Mexican warrior Jorge "Travieso" Arce effectively demolished the programs of competing networks last Sunday, turning in huge ratings.
The total television ratings for the country registered 34.7 percent with the Visayas region pulling in 39.9 percent and Mindanao 39.5 percent.
The Kantar Media figures for the urban region of Southern Luzon registering a remarkable 49 percent and an overall average rating of 40.9 percent.
North Luzon ratings were at 35.3 percent while Central Luzon dropped to 23.2 percent.
The results of the ratings matched the fight itself with a knockout performance way ahead of nearest competitor GMA Kapuso turning in average ratings of a mere 12 percent.
