CUELLO-SINGWANGCHA: IF THE FIGHT LASTS 6 ROUNDS, LOPEZ'S FACE WOULD BE A TRAIN WRECK
By Chito Yu Katangkatang PhilBoxing.com Tue, 15 May 2012
Shortly before his departure to Mexico last Sunday, WBC Strawweight Silver Champion Denver Cuello-Singwangcha made a short chat with philboxing.com. "I have prepared myself to fight for 18 rounds. That's the design implemented by trainer/manager (Aljoe Jaro) during my training camp. I feel perfect. I am ready to explode. I will knock Lopez out just like my previous victims and it will be a bad knock out. If the fight goes beyond 6 rounds, Lopez's face will be a total mess, a train wreck and it will be impossible for any artist to draw his face. I have always been ready to be a world champion but it seems that boxing politics has not been friendly to me. But it's okay. This makes me more focused and more determined. I am not looking past Ganigan Lopez but all I can say is I am coming to get him on May 19 and will go get Ioka next. Ioka, you better prepare to face me or hide and move up in weight."
Those were the sharp worlds of the little giant from Ilo-ilo. His promoter, manager and trainer Aljoe Jaro expressed the same confidence on his protege. "Denver is a unique kind of a fighter. He is gentle looking beast that will devour any moving thing inside the ring. He is very excited to knock out another opponent blocking his way towards that long dreamed world title belt and he is extremely hungry to get that belt. Nothing can stop Denver but himself. We are ready to go and you guys should check this fight. Please pray for our victory in Mexico", Jaro told philboxing.
