By Chito Yu Katangkatang PhilBoxing.com Thu, 16 Feb 2012
Denver Cuello.
In a phone call to Indonesia, rugged minimumweight warrior Kid Suryana boldly told this scribe that he will surprise everybody on March 10. ?I will knock Cuello out within six rounds. I trained ten times harder for this fight because a win will place my name on the boxing map. Ambitious you might think but me and Cuello both have fists. Come March 10, Indonesia will have a new hero to be proud of.?
On the other hand, Denver Cuello-Singwangcha is not taking any fight lightly. ?Too much confidence can spoil my world championship stint anytime. I will not let that happen. I am not looking past this kid from Indonesia. He is young and strong.? Denver told Philboxing. Cuello also indicated that he is training with stablemate Sonny Boy Jaro who is he getting ready to challenge Thai junior flyweight king Pongsaklek Wonjongkam.
The Cuello Singwangcha versus Suryana fight will be held on March 10, 2012 at the Jaro Plaza, Iloilo City. Cuello himself who is a native of Cabatuan, Iloilo requested to stage his next fight in his home province before his very own ?Kasimanwas?. The fight is being made possible by GMA7, Jaro Promotions International with Naris Singwangcha, City Government of Iloilo through their youthful Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, City Sports Coordinator Rommel Jojo Castro, Flordelyn Pasadilla, Cabatuan Mayor Bob Maruma and other Municipal Mayors of the Province of Iloilo.
