Las Vegas, NV: Yesterday at the official weigh-in event for the Pacquiao-Marquez III, something very interesting occurred.
For what ever it was worth, it was a brilliant joke or a fantastic political gimmick pulled by the Team Pacquiao and Top Rank.
As Pacquiao was introduced, a large poster bill board was unfurled slowly.
When its full length was revealed, it drew a huge reaction from the crown of Pacman fans. Many applauded but a few we saw were just simply shaking their heads.
Pacquiao of course is at this point not yet ready for Presidency. Oh not that he can?t handle the job.
He is under the age to be a President of the Philippines.
In the meantime, before he becomes President, he must first pursue his ambitions to be a Governor in the next local elections in the Philippines.
But that is far removed from what he needs to do today inside the MGM Garden Arena.
Pacquiao must settle once and for all the Marquez issue.
The Mexican dynamite claims that he beat Pacquiao in their last two fights. Pacquiao thinks otherwise.
So tonight the issue will be put to an end.
After that perhaps the ground swell for the future run for the presidency of the Philippines can start.
