CUELLO-SINGWANGCHA ARRIVES IN LAS VEGAS, TRAINS RIGHT AWAY
By Chito Yu Katangkatang PhilBoxing.com Sat, 17 Sep 2011

WBC International Minimumweight Champion Denver Cuello-Singwangcha arrived in Las Vegas yesterday with his manager Aljoe Jaro. Jaro confided that Denver will train at the Mayweather Gym while in Vegas until they depart for Mexico for the his boxer?s fight with Patricio Camacho.
?We are very excited for this fight. We are also happy being here in Vegas and cannot wait to watch the live fight between Mayweather and Ortiz. Mayweather is the betting favorite and is too skillful for the younger Ortiz, but boxing is not boxing without the chance for upsets. This fight can go either way although the normal boxing fan will see it heading towards Mayweather?s side. Ortiz has a slim chance but I see Mayweather winning this one.? Jaro, predicted on tomorrows Star Power.
When I asked Denver about his own prediction, his simple reply was, ?I want Ortiz to win in order to shut Mayweather?s big mouth. But no matter how much I hate him, Floyd is objectively the superior fighter. If Ortiz pulls an upset, then the boxing fans will finally get what they pay for, and see Mayweather lose for the first time.?
The Cuello-Camacho fight will be held on September 24 in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. An easy win for Denver would pit him against Gannigan Lopez in October for the WBC Minimumweight Silver Belt.
