Allanic, Banal headline int'l card at the Marriott

Some of Cebu's fast-rising fighters will be showcased when SGG Sports Promotions presents the "Stars of the Future" boxing card, a 10-bout spectacle, set to unwrap on April 30 at the Marriott Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel in Cebu.
Unbeaten ALA Boy Alex John Banal, hailed as the 'Batang Ermita' sees action in the main event as he takes on rugged Thai Bangsaen Sithpraprom, a one-time WBF superfly contender from Bangkok.
The Bukidnon-born, Ermita-raised Banal (5-0-1 draw, 4 KO's) is coming off a very impressive first-round annihilation of Thai Dechapol Bankluaygym last March 18, earning for him plaudits from executives of Golden Boy Promotions who were at ringside.
In the co-featured 8-rounder, Malabuyoc-born ALA Boy Robert "Cliff Smart" Allanic battles Thai Saensak Singmanasak in an anticipated slugout.
Allanic is coming off a decision win over Robert Rubillar last March 18, while Singmanasak is a one-time WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight contender.
The rest of the card pits ALA Boy Rey Caitom versus Roel Honor, Milan Milendo versus Amirro Ricablanca, Lito Jalnaiz against Jessie Albaracin, Frank Albia versus Brix 'Bomb' Ray, Mark Jason Melligen versus Rolan Malunhao, Rahied Bacus versus Argie Marapao, Rex Malibago against Mediz Saang, and Rogen Flores versus Rey Taguibalos.
