Cristobal stops Beltran in the 6th round

RICKY Cristobal of General Santos City bounced back with a technical knockout against undefeated Crisaldy “El Dinamita” Beltran of Bukidnon in the 6th round last December 18 at the Barangay 37-D Poblacion-B District in Davao City.
The 23-year-old Cristobal had a slow start as Beltran controlled the first three rounds.
But Cristobal started to hit Beltran with his body blows and jabs in the fourth and fifth rounds.
In the 6th round, Cristobal unleashed a short right on the face of Beltran, who fell down and failed to stand up until referee Fernan Piccio completed the count.
Cristobal registered his third knockout win and his seventh victory against three losses while the 21-year-old Beltran suffered his first setback after five wins with four knockouts.
It was presented by Firmo Aligato of Ring Master Boxing, Promotion, Sanman Boxing, Top Five, Lumaban Boxing and SK Barangay 37-D.
