CHRISTY MARTIN BREAKS HAND, DAKOTA STONE WINS BY TKO

LOS ANGELES -- Top Rank put up a rematch between two willing women fighters who obviously have not much love for each other. The first time they fought some few months ago, the fight was undecided as it was called a draw.
Tonight at the Staples center, in a special feature the two boxers put up a show that many hope will set the tone for the rest of the evening.
Martin scored a flash knock-down in round 4 but in round 7 after throwing a hard right hand, Martin suddenly turned around and away from Stome. She complained to the referee that she broke her hand. After a consultation with the ring doctor, the referee decided to waved off the fight.
Martin thus won via a TKO.
