Tanamor enters SEA Games boxing finals,Pinoy Muay Thai fights for gold
By Eddie Alinea PhilBoxing.com Mon, 14 Dec 2009

Two-time Olympian Harry Tanamor boxed his way lopsided 12-4 victory over Htet Aung of Myamnar to earn his spot in the gold medal fight in boxing at the Olympasia gymnasium inside the sprawling National University.
The 31-year-old Tanamor dictated the tempo of the fight from the opening bell on, dancing and jabbing hapless opponent with impunity, never allowing the Burmese a chance to get on track.
Four of RP’s six male boxers—pin weight Bill Vicera, lightwelter Joegin Landon, feather Charly Saludar and flyweight Rey Saludar-- are still in the running for medals while all three female entries have their chances intact more so for Annie Albania.
Big surprise Sunday was the advance to the final round of four Filipino muay artists—Jonathan Polosan, Romnick Pabalate,Zaidi Laruan and Rolando Claro—that if turned into golden performances could mean a giant leap for Team Philippines in the medal picture. The muay athletes will fight for gold on December 14 and 15.
Their teammate Ana Marie Rey lost to Pan Thi Ngoc Li of Vietnam on Sunday and settled for bronze medal.
