The fight will be streaming live as part of a PPV broadcast. It will also be archived for viewing following the live fight. Cost of viewing is $10 USD in the United States and 7.03 EUR in Europe.
Brian Minto has become a fan favorite for his crowd pleasing style and everyman attitude. He?s been regularly featured on ESPN, HBO PPV undercards and RTL in Germany. He is currently ranked #8 by the WBO.
Minto has won six straight fights and 15 of his last 16. He has notable wins over former world title challenger Axel Schulz and tough veterans such as Vinnie Maddalone, Billy Zumbrun and Danny Batchelder.
The fight with Holmes will mark the first time he?s worked with elite trainer Freddie Roach, who currently trains pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao and junior welterweight titleholder Amir Khan. He?s also worked with Oscar De La Hoya, Mike Tyson, Bernard Hopkins, James Toney and countless other world champions in the past.
Donnell Holmes is a resident of Ivanhoe, North Carolina and is currently ranked #13 by the WBC. He was formerly promoted by hall of famer Don King and got the nickname ?Real Touch of Sleep? after former world title challenger Davarryl ?Touch of Sleep? Williamson began using the same nickname as him.
