Sumabong remained undefeated and scored a knockout win in the third round over veteran Daniel Diolan in the main event of a fight card held in the Lapu-lapu City Sports Complex Sunday night. Sumabong was the more aggressive fighter and pressed the action until a barrage of blows deposited Diolan into his own corner where he was counted out in 2:07 of the 3rd. Sumabong is now 6W-0L with 3 KO?s. Diolan drops to 19W ? 25L ? 1D. The fight card was billed as ?Halad Sa Kapistahan sa Birhen sa Regla? and was promoted by the Rex ?Wakee? Salud RWS International Promotions, Manny Pacquiao MP Promotions and the Lapu-lapu City government. Jayson ?Gladiator? Siaton was upset by Rey Megreno. Siaton was a recipient of a shock knockdown in the third round. In the fourth Megreno hit him with a low blow. Siaton was given five minutes to recuperate but was unable to continue and thus Megreno was declared winner by TKO. Siaton was the only member of the RWS Super 5 to lose his bout. Dave Christian Baliguat won by unanimous decision over Saddam Alin in 4 rounds. The scores: 39-36, 39-36, 38-37. Rob ?Gun? Montero won by unanimous decision over Romano Gelig in 4 rounds. All three judges scored 40-36. RJ ?Sharp? Ano-os scored a knockdown in the second round enroute to a 4 round unanimous decision win over Ramelo Estra. The scores 39-36 on all three judges. Renjie ?Kilat? Abendan won by unanimous decision over Jerpol Valero in 4 rounds. The scorecards: 40-36, 40-36 and 38-36. Israel Salud unleashed a powerful body attack to score a first round KO win over Roberto Tobio. Kevin dela Cruz won by unanimous decision over Samuel Galinato in another 4 round tussle. The scorecards read: 38036, 39-35 and 38-36. Marco Demesillo scored a knockdown in the first round enroute to a 4 round unanimous decision win over Loloy dela Pena.
