BREAKING NEWS: NIETES WBO DEFENSE IS OFF!

WBO minimumweight champion Donnie Nietes' planned July 5 defense against Mexican Erik Ramirez in Hidalgo, Mexico has been called off, reliable sources told Philboxing.com.
The two parties reportedly could not come into terms thus scrapping what would have been Nietes' first title defense at the Estadio Huracan in Pachuca.
Michael Aldeguer, who manages Nietes, this morning called up Philboxing.com to confirm that the fight is off.
Cebu sportsman Antonio L. Aldeguer also informed that they just got a word from international matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz who informed them that the fight is a no-go.
"We are still awaiting further development on our next move," stressed the well-liked Aldeguer, esteemed patriarch of the famed ALA Gym and ALA Promotions.
