BJMP celebrates 12th CRS Month with Bike-Camp-Charity Event

THE Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) is celebrating its 12th CRS Month with a Bike-Camp-Charity Event on June 28 to 29 at the Purok 3 in Bombaran, Eden, Toril.
“It’s a ride, set-up camp, cook your own meal, socials, community cooking and feeding program,” said JO3 Harvey Bryan Malnegro at last Thursday at DSA Forum in SM Davao.
There is no registration fee.
“Just monetary donation for Eden Daycare Center, which is a personal project of Barangay Kap. Virgilio Sitoy,” said Malnegro, who also came with JO1 Jezzi Fritz Calipsan.
The Day Care Center, which still needs improvement, was adopted by Jail Warden J/CISP Erwin Esden.
DCJAnnex aims to raise funds for the construction of the centers’ ceiling to insulate pupils from the heat of the roof. A feeding program shall also be conducted.
But there will be awards for the “Best Camp”, “Best Meal” and “Best Bike”.
The event is also supported by Beach Break Bikebags and Haribol Meditation Center.
