Plania vs Geraldo today in Gensan

WORLD ranked contender Mike “Magic” Plania of General Santos City will test his mettle against veteran Mark Anthony “El Heneral” Geraldo of Bukidnon today, May 17 at the Sanman Gym in GenSan.
The 26-year-old Plania tipped the scales at 122 pounds while Geraldo, 31, weighed at 125 pounds.
Plania recently knocked out Jeffrey Francisco of Palawan in the 1st round last December 31, 2022 in Tagum City.
Geraldo, on the other hand, was stopped by Ludumo Lamati of South Africa in the 4th round last November 17, 2022 at Durban Casino in Durban.
“I had not really trained for this because my father got sick and he eventually died,” said Geraldo.
Also pitted in the undercard are: (6 rounds Super Bantamweight) Gabriel Tapales vs. Jaeger Bereno; (4 Rounds Super Featherweight) Ricky Cristobal vs. MB Baselaco.
