Astrolabio arrives in Stockton
By Lito delos Reyes PhilBoxing.com Thu, 11 May 2023

THE team of Vincent “Asero” Astrolabio has arrived in Stockton, California, USA on May 10 at 5 p.m. for his battle against Jason Moloney of Australia for the vacant WBO World bantamweight title.
The 26-year-old Astrolabio of General Santos City arrived with chief trainer Raides “Nonoy” Neri, manager Vanessa Neri and Sean Gibbons of MP Promotions.
Also with them are Brendan Gibbons and Parker Gibbons. They were fetched by Ryan Largo, who is from Davao City.
They are staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. The press conference is set Thursday May 11 at 1 p.m. California time while the fight will be held at the Stockton Arena.
Astrolabio (18-3-0, 13KO) will only use a treadmill to maintain his weight before the official weigh-in at the hotel’s ballroom.
He recently knocked out Nikolai Potapov in the 6th round to win the vacant WBO Inter-Continental bantamweight title last December 17 at Las Vegas, USA.
Astrolabio is now ready to fight Moloney (25-2-0, 19KO), who stopped Aston Palicte of Bago City in the 3rd round for the WBC Silver and WBO International bantamweight titles last June 2022.
“Please include him in your prayers,” said Vanessa Neri.
