Tapales will shock the world

FORMER world champion Marlon “Nightmare” Tapales is ready to shock the world as he challenges undefeated Murodjon Akhmadaliev of Uzbekistan today, April 9, Philippine time for the IBF World and WBA Super World super bantamweight titles at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio.
“He is very okay. Marlon is ready to shock the world,” said Ramon Falgui, the right-hand man of JC Manangquil, the boxer’s promoter in the Philippines.
Manangquil, on the other hand, said that Tapales is “ready and very confident”.
“He is ready. He will be a two division world champion tomorrow,” said Manangquil.
Tapales of Tubod, Lanao del Norte is a former World Boxing Organization world bantamweight champion when he knocked out Panya Uthok* of Thailand in the 11th round last July 2016,
The 31-year-old Tapales then defended the title by a TKO over Shohei Omori in the 11th round last April 2017 in Osaka, Japan.
Tapales (36-3-0, 19KOs) is now promoted by Sanman Boxing Promotion.
