ARVIN “Hurricane” Magramo retained his WBO Oriental light flyweight title by beating Joel Lino of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur by unanimous decision last night, March 25 at the Okada Manila Hotel and Casino in Paranaque City.
The 26-year-old Magramo improved his record to 17 wins with one loss and one draw for his second title defense.
Lino, 27, only suffered his fourth loss against 12 wins and one draw.
Meanwhile, Albert “Sting” Francisco of Paranaque City hammered out previously undefeated Chengcheng Yang of China to win the vacant WBO Oriental Youth flyweight title.
The 23-year-old Francisco now has nine straight wins with six knockouts while Yang took his first setback after five wins.
Still going on is the title fight between Giemel Magramo of Paranaque and Sanchai Yotboon of Thailand for the vacant WBO Global flyweight title.
