Undefeated Reyes eyes 6th win on March 12

UNDEFEATED Steve Reggie Reyes of MP Gym Davao is eyeing his 6th straight win as he fights against Carl Boholst of Gingood City in “The Battle 3” slated on March 12 at Elorde Gym in Tulip Drive, Matina.
It will be the 4th main event for the 17-year-old Reyes.
Reyes has been training at the MP Gym Davao for six months now under former professional boxer Brille Vincent Dayaganon.
Reyes is still studying at Emar Human and Environmental College Inc. as Grade 11.
“(I’m) excited and fired up and gave my best for my best amateur fight,” said Reyes.
Reyes has picked Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Manny Pacquiao and Prince Naseem as his old favorites.
“But in the latest era I would say GGG, Inoue, Vasyl and Alvarez boxing is evolving through the generations,” said Reyes.
The dual main event is promoted by the Davao Ultimate Knock-out Challenge Promotion headed by Alfie Angelo Jonsay.
The other main event also features Alton Nathaniel Vadil of Elorde Gym Davao against Ethan Dakota Schubert of Tomm’s Gym.
There are 22 pairs which will start at 2 p.m.
It is supported by Dragon Dumplings, Davao City Sports Development Division and Elorde Gym.
