MMA Fuentes to fight against Tito at Elorde Gym on March 12

MIXED martial artist Alton John “Hercules” Fuentes of Davao City is fighting for the first time in boxing in “The Battle 3” on March 12 at Elorde Gym in Tulip Drive, Matina.
The 36-year-old Fuentes has a record in amateur MMA with two wins and two loses.
“Excited and intense when preparing for the chance to win,” said Fuentes.
Fuentes will be fighting against Brian Tito of Compostela, Davao del Oro.
“My opponent is also good and strong,” said Fuentes.
Fuentes is from Iflex Spartan but he is training in boxing with the Moralde Brothers Gym in NHA Buhangin.
“I go to work making uniforms and teaching dogs the basic obedience,” said Fuentes.
The boxing event is promoted by the Davao Ultimate Knock-out Challenge Promotion headed by Alfie Angelo Jonsay.
It will have two main events featuring Alton Nathaniel Vadil of Elorde Gym Davao against Ethan Dakota Schubert of Tomm’s Gym and Carl Boholst of Gingood City against Steve Reggie Reyes of MP Boxing Davao.
The 22 bouts will start at 2 p.m. It is supported by Dragon Dumplings, Davao City Sports Development Division and Elorde Gym.
