‘Bakbakan sa Baguio District’ on March 19

THE much-awaited ‘Bakbakan sa Baguio District’ on March 19 in Baguio District, Calinan will be a joint venture between Alcazar Boxing Promotions and Amoy Promotions.
The Alcazar Boxing Promotions is composed of Dr. William Arcilla, lawyer Rizal Acas and businessman Firmo Justine Aligato while Amoy Promotions is owned by Alex Amoy.
“Three of us are classmates in high school,” said 29-year-old Aligato.
The fights will start at 7 p.m. in coordination with Barangay Baguio Proper, Baguio District.
“(We’re) excited for this is our first promotion and at the same time it’s a joint venture with Amoy Promotions,” said Aligato.
Aligato hopes for more promotions to come.
Pitted in the main event are bantamweight Alvin Camique of General Santos City against undefeated John Vincent Pangga of Cagayan de Oro City.
There will also be one 6-rounder and five 4-rounders.
