Glenn Donaire Update!

Glenn "The Filipino Bomber" Donaire will depart for Reno, Nevada on Tuesday, Feb. 19, for his scheduled fight against Jose Albuquerque on Feb. 22 at the Sliver Legacy Resort Casino. Donaire will attend the press conference the following day to be held at the Silver Legacy Resort. As of press time, Glenn weighs 111 lbs, 2 lbs over the agreed weight limit. Donaire said he'll be 109 lbs on Thursday for the weigh-in.
Father-trainer Nonito Sr. will drive with Glenn to Reno Tuesday evening. Glenn's brother Nonito Donaire Jr., the IBF flyweight king, will follow Thursday evening together with other relatives and supporters.
Glenn's wife, Darling, will not go to Reno as she said she'll be taking care their two kids at home.
