PAGARA'S JOURNEY BACK TO THE TOP CONTINUES

PhilBoxing.com

Prince Albert Pagara makes another attempt to raise up his world ratings as he faces George Krampah of Accra, Ghanna on November 24 in Pinoy Pride 45. It will be the supporting bout of the WBO Oriental super bantamweight championship between ALA standout Jeo ?Santino? Santisima and Uriel ?Yuca? Lopez of Mexico.

Krampah has a professional record of 14 wins, 12 by KOs, with 3 losses all by KOs. He has a high 71% KO rate of all his fights.

On December 2015, he lost to compatriot Isaac Dogboe by 7th round TKO for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) Africa featherweight title at the Accra Sports Stadium. Dogboe is the current WBO world superbantamweight champion who dethroned Nonito Donaire tormentor Jessie Magdaleno by knocking him out in the 11th round.

On June 2015 Krampah was stopped by Thabo Sonjica of Eastern Cape, South Africa via 4th round TKO. His first loss was dealt by fellow Accra, Ghanian Michael Pappoe, who was undefeated at that time, by 6th round TKO on October 2011.

Pagara stopped Ghana's Laryea Gabriel Odoi at 2:30 of the 3rd round last June's Pinoy Pride 44 in Maasin City, Prince's hometown, in the process gaining his fourth straight win since the Cesar Juarez debacle.

Pagara is ranked No. 7 by the IBF and No. 8 by the WBO and is on the right track on his comeback trail. He won back his World Boxing Organization inter-continental super bantamweight title. Pagara has 30 wins, 1 loss and 21 KO wins with a 68% KO rate.

November of last year he defeated Mohammed Kambuluta of Tanzania by 2nd round KO. Four months earlier, he annihilated Thailand's Aekkawee Kaewmanee by 4th round KO. In 2016, he won over Ghana's Raymond Commey by unanimous decision.

?The Juarez fight was a learning experience for him but he lost to a world caliber fighter, not just to anyone. What Albert gained after the loss was maturity and experience which are traits needed to be in a title contention again," said Michael Aldeguer, CEO of ALA Sports Promotions, as quoted by RingTV.
