NBA -- Clippers continue tradition with Filipino Heritage Night event

LOS ANGELES -- Like year's past, the LA Clippers will host a Filipino Heritage Night for this upcoming season on January 8, 2019 which will coincide with the team's hosting of Charlotte Hornets at Staples Center.
Fans who will buy tickets online using the promo code FILIPINO will be able to avail of discounted rates starting at $34. They will also receive an Apl.de.ap Bobblehead.
Last season's version of the Heritage Night was a smashing success for the Clippers as Apl.de.ap of the Black-Eyed Peas performed at halftime break and revved up the crowd. Jessica Reynoso of The Voice Philippines sang the National Anthem while Sprint Dancer Kyla was featured prominent;y, flaunting Pinyo Pride.
The Filipino Heritage Night is celebrated by a lot of teams league-wide including the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets among others. It is an homage to the Filipino-American fan base, which is one of the most loyal in the NBA.
