NBA -- Lakers halt Pistons' win streak with 20-point rout

LOS ANGELES-- Prized rookie Lonzo Ball didn't have a particularly good night with a quiet 13 points, six rebounds and three assists, but his teammates came through as the Los Angeles Lakers crushed the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
Julius Randle 17 points, Kyle Kuzma had 16 and Larry Nance Jr contributed 14 points to help Los Angeles improved their win-loss record to 3-4. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 13 points while Jordan Clarkson accounted for 10.
The Lakers, who improved to 3-4, shot 49.5 percent from the field and drilled 12 of 26 triples.
The Pistons, meanwhile,dropped to 5-3 and got 18 each from Reggie Jackson and Tobias Harris.
The Lakers out-rebounded the Pistons, 53-44 and Los Angeles also recorded more assists, 30-21.
"There's nothing we did well and they dominated us. We had no fight in us. It was a bad, bad night," Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy told reporters after the game.
