VARGAS VS. BERCHELT OFFICIAL WEIGHTS AHEAD OF HBO BOXING AFTER DARK? SHOW ON JAN. 28

Defending champion Francisco Vargas (23-0-2, 17KOs) of Mexico weighed in at 129.6 lbs while his challenger Miguel Berchelt (30-1, 27KOs), also of Mexico, stepped the scales at 129.8 lbs during the official weighin Friday ahead of their WBC world super featherweight title bout Saturday night at the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Indio, California to be televised on HBO Boxing After Dark and promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.
In the TV co-main event, Takashi Miura (30-3-2, 23KOs) of Japan came in at 129.2 lbs while his opponent Mickey Roman (56-11, 43KOs) of Mexico weighed in at 129.8 lbs. The fight is for 12 rounds super featherweight.
